Dear St. Paul members,
Our buildings are mostly empty now, except for a handful or two. The preschool children are home, sometimes connecting through technology with their teachers in order to remember them and what they’ve been a part of since late last summer. Children can forget quickly so it’s important to stay in touch even when they can’t come to their school building for this extended time. Adults have longer memory tracks. They have seen and done and connected to many things, people, and places in their respective lives. We know the value of these experiences and need to remind ourselves to continue connecting to them. We extend a warm welcome to all people who want to join with St. Paul and participate in our mission of witnessing, sharing, encouraging, and serving. Our focus is on making disciples (you) who make a difference for Jesus in the world.
New Disciple (member) sessions are held periodically throughout the year.
Call or e-mail us for the next scheduled session. In the meantime, come be renewed in worship and ministry.
WHO WE ARE
We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), a church body with nearly four million members, in nearly 10,000 congregations.
As Christians, we have a radical focus on God's unconditional love and amazing grace shown to us in Jesus Christ.
We believe that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. With our hands, we do God's work of restoring and reconciling communities in Jesus' name throughout the world.
To learn more about what we believe as Lutheran Christians, visit the ELCA website.
We believe celebrating the resurrection of our Lord is an integral and important part of our spiritual life. We offer Holy Communion each Sunday. All are welcome.
get to know us
Be our guest for social time each Sunday after worship, which could include coffee, cookies and conversation, or a planned activity in the Fellowship Hall. We'll get to know each other!
Let us pray,
God of grace and love, you created us as your children and have brought us to St. Paul Lutheran Church. We are not perfect people, but this church is the perfect place for imperfect people. Thank you for your grace through Christ given to us. You call us to proclaim to everyone we meet that your grace is for them too. As a Holy Spirit-led family of God, we ask you to help us joyfully share your word and serve your people, so that together our lives make a difference in your kingdom here on earth. Strengthen us in our mission together; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
